Strawberry Shortcake Cakes and Cupcakes

I have a real soft spot for Strawberry Shortcake - yes, the dessert is good, but I'm talking about the cutie herself. I loved her when I was a little girl! So I was extra excited to create these beautiful cakes and cupcakes. Two cakes, one vegan and one not, and mini cupcakes were decorated with colorful strawberries. A hand-painted Strawberry Shortcake sits on top of the birthday girl's cake. Vines and purple flowers completed the fun design on both cakes. Berry cute!

Calla Lily Wedding Cake

Calla Lilies are my absolute favorite flowers and I loved making them for this 8" wedding cake. Simple sophistication. Beautiful calla lilies sit on top of this wedding cake accented with dots and pearls.

Hawaiian Hibiscus Flowers

I created these sweet little hibiscus flowers to give a Hawaiian feel to mini Lemoncello cupcakes. Tasty and so beautiful!

Skateboarding Ninja

This super cute 5" cake with a ninja on a skateboard was created for a 3 year old's birthday. It was paired with lots of mini cupcakes. Perfect to give the birthday boy a special cake to blow out his candles.

Lilacs Wedding Cake

I have to say I'm extra proud of this wedding cake! Deep violet lilacs with silvery green leaves sit proudly on top of this beautiful 8" wedding cake. Hand-piped scroll-work was painted with a touch of silver to really make them pop! A dozen Rocky Road cupcakes are the perfect compliment to the Strawberry Cream wedding cake. Small weddings can still be beautiful and delicious.

Great Apes

These cute cupcakes were requested after our customer saw the monkey cupcakes. They were made for their local riding group whose mascot is an ape so I changed them up a bit to be less monkey-like and more ape-like. The apes sit atop of a couple of my favorite flavors: Caramel Surprise and Lemon Berry Twist.

Juicy Couture Purse Cake

This was an exciting cake to make - my first purse cake! This was created for a fashionista as a surprise birthday cake for her 40th birthday. Three big layers of our vegan chocolate cake, covered with vegan rose buttercream and then entirely covered in fondant. The details are amazing! I hand painted the logo in gold on the front of the purse and created a zipper from scratch. This cake was a definite hit!
